Purple Ombre Wedding Cake & Dessert Catering


This cake was so much fun to do! First off each tier is a different flavor and amazing flavors at that. The top tier was Chocolate Cake with Caramel Italian Buttercream, middle tier was White Cake with Raspberry Italian Buttercream, and the bottom tier was Chocolate Cake with Vanilla Italian Buttercream! Delicious!!!


The second reason it was so much fun is that I finally went out and bought myself an airbrush machine. I had so much fun airbrushing the cake and look forward to my many future airbrush adventures! 


The bride and groom also asked me to do some dessert catering. I did Eclairs filled with Bavarian Creme Filling and topped with Chocolate, Lemon Bars, Chocolate Dipped Strawberries, and Lime, Tangerine & Plain Mini Cheesecakes topped with Sweetened Heavy Whipping Cream! Wow! So many delectable treats! Yum, Yum, Yum!!!!!














Springville Art City Days 2013, Top Tier Cake Decorating Competition


This years theme was "Celebrate Downtown". I competed in the advanced division this year and had so much fun! I started planning for this months ago and was so excited to see my ideas come to life. You can see that I decided to do a mini cityscape of downtown Springville, Utah. The building in the center is their Civic Center and their yearly city celebration takes place around the building. I decided to incorporate a lot of the events that take place during this celebration week. 


The little hot dogs were my favorite! And the car was the most fun to make! It is made of cereal treats and covered and decorated in fondant and the details were hand painted with silver food coloring. 


I got second place! I got a fancy award plaque and a cool prize!
